3. Required Information for a DMCA Notice

4. Our Response

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Notify the person who posted the content that it has been removed
  • Provide them with an opportunity to file a counter-notification

We will make every effort to respond to valid DMCA takedown notices within 3–5 business days.

5. Counter-Notification

If you believe that content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our DMCA agent at the contact information above. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature
  2. Identification of the material that has been removed and its location before removal
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for your judicial district (or in your country if outside the U.S.)

6. Repeat Infringers

cooking word will, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers.

7. Fair Use

cooking word acknowledges that not all uses of copyrighted material constitute infringement. Use of copyrighted material for purposes of commentary, criticism, news reporting, teaching, or research may qualify as "fair use" under 17 U.S.C. § 107.
